Letter from Fuentes

Hello my name is Ms. Fuentes and welcome to my Live Resume, which I am the creator, developer, and designer of this site.

 

During the early '90s, I became a Desktop Publisher that established my own business, by the name of DATA PRO.  I was awarded consistently for my work in creating brochures, business cards, company logos, artwork, flyers, newsletters, catalogues, pamphlets, personalized coloring books, learning games, and other materials for many local small businesses and educational facilities.  Although, DATA PRO no longer exists, the skills obtained from this business has been a great asset towards the future.  In retrospect, I was a member of the National Female Executive Association, GCBWF; the Greater Cleveland Business Women’s Forum, and The Christian Professional (publishing directory).

 

 

In the mid years of 2000, I attended Westwood Online College to learn the world of web design & multimedia and some game development.  In addition, I attended AIU online college to learn visual communications as well.  Since then, I was presented The Golden Web Award 2003 - 2004 and Deco (Gold) Web Award 2003 - 2004 for the Unique Computer Teacher website that I developed.

 

Later in the year of 2005, I went back to college to finalize my studies in education with the hope of gaining even more knowledge to incorporate learning games and materials on my web pages.  In retrospect, I create learning materials and games on Quia.  Quia is a national and international professional teaching site that assigns curriculums online out to many educational institutions.  Recently, I was presented a plaque, certificate, and membership of the Madison Who's Who Professsionals and Executives 2007-2008 for my work in the industry and presented the Coolest Designs Award 2007-2008 on the web.  Also, I am an author of a research book on autism that I had written for a couple of special people in my life at the following link: http://www.lulu.com/content/954162 .

 

In my conclusion, my passion for teaching computer software with a combination of general education and animation has finally come together.  Just remember, “In your eyes are what I hope to see my work come alive” on this site in a different form and fashion through the world of website development.
